I AM READY TO BOOK! WHAT’S NEXT?
LET’S GOOOO! We are super excited you are ready to book! Next step is to fill out our contact form HERE! Once we receive that, we’ll send you an email with instructions on how to book your phone consultation with us. During your phone consultation, we will talk about what type of session you would like to book, walk you through what to expect on the day of your session, answer any questions you may have, and get you all set for your session!
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
YUP, YUP, YUP! A photography session with Kalico Photography is an experience that is worth every penny. From interactive and directive family, maternity, new born, senior, or engagement portraiture sessions, to luxury boudoir or fully immersive and exceptionally detailed wedding photography. For that reason, we want your investment to be as stress free and manageable as possible. We offer pre-session payment plans as a financing option for your session! With our pre-session payment plans, you will pick out your desired collection ahead of time and we will break up your investment into either bi-weekly or Monthly installments leading up to your session. On session day, your collection will already be taken care of and you will have one less think to think about!
WILL YOU PHOTOSHOP MY IMAGES?
ABSOLUTLY! Photoshop can be our best friend! But, here’s the thing; most cellulite issues are taken care of with expert posing and correct lighting. We don't go too crazy, but normally we do skin smoothing, remove bags under the eyes and smooth any bulges created by lingerie straps or bra straps. We ensure we ask every client if there are specific things they would like edited out, i.e. scars, moles, etc. or if they would like to keep their natural beauty marks. If you have any specific questions about photoshopping or what we can do, just ask!
IS HAIR AND MAKEUP PROVIDED?
For our portraiture photography, Professional hair and makeup is an option to be provided for an additional fee. Professional hair and makeup is ALWAYS included in our Boudoir Session Fee! Getting the opportunity to have your hair and makeup professionally done is an excellent way to be pampered while allowing time to relax and get fully ready for your session. When we have professional hair and makeup scheduled, we’ll ask that you arrive to the Studio with a clean, moisturized face and clean, dry hair so that we can get right to work. Let the transformation begin!
DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN OUTFITS?
DEPENDS! For our Family, Maternity, Baby Announcement, Engagement, Senior, or other forms of Portraiture photography sessions; yes you’d bring your own outfits! For our Boudoir clients and our New Born clients, we can guide you through what outfits to purchase and bring, however, we also provide a client wardrobe for you to pick from! We recommend having 3-4 outfits in total for your shoot, but that can be a combination of pieces that you bring or anything that we have in the Client Wardrobe - it's totally up to you! We understand that shopping for your session can be a little (or a lot) terrifying, but we have the experience to help through this process, both before your session for items you’d like to bring, as well as at our Studio with our client wardrobe. Feel free to bring anything you want! We will sort through it once you arrive for either your Pre-Session Fitting or on the day of your shoot!
WHEN DO I GET TO SEE MY PHOTOS?
SO EXCITING! We offer SAME DAY up to a couple weeks! That's right, you get to see and purchase your images on the same day of your shoot! What the means is that we will finish shooting, we'll send you out for lunch somewhere for about 90 minutes, and then when you come back everything will be ready for you! OR, we can schedule it out for a later date, no longer than 2 weeks. We will have your Viewing and Ordering Session at that time and you get to pick out exactly what you want to take away from your session!
HOW QUICKLY WILL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES?
Any digital products you end up going with will be sent to you on your Viewing and Ordering Session day through an online gallery! Any physical products, such as an Album, will be mailed you your house within 7-10 business days after your session! If you need your images back before a certain date, we recommend scheduling your session at least two-three weeks before.
